I buy these rags from a company that carries mostly used work clothes. My husband said he once saw a woman with children, one in a stroller, there going through t-shirts looking for something for her baby. It was cold and the child was not in warm clothes and had no blanket. The owner told her to take whatever she wanted. He said most lokely, she had been to the Salvation Army store nearby and could not afford even their low prices and thought this would be an option. It may be a good idea

to check with a Rov before discarding usable objects or clothes. There are Gemach’s and needy people that can really benefit from them. I have even experienced some thrift type stores even take torn and unusable clothing.

Don't throw away clothing

Some organizations take clothes which don’t sell or are unwearable and sell for rerpocessing or as rags. I buy sterilzed rags in 25lb bundles for my customers who use them for industrial cleaning, paint clean-up etc.
