There’s a voice in my head that rings, creating joy and happiness in my heart. It’s a boomerang effect that leaves me feeling inspired to give back.
Although I’m only 22 years old, there are certain occurrences that will remain etched clearly in my mind. I like to call it a ripple effect – the voice of encouragement, strength, and love that continues to ring.
It all started at Camp Pardas Chanah, where I spent some of the most formative years of my life. I often think about what excites people to want to become better and where they get all their zest and passion for life. For me and hundreds more, we share a common denominator – Camp Pardas Chanah.
Was it the lively atmosphere, singing at mealtime, or spending our rest hour learning Tzivos Hashem so we could win color war? Or perhaps it was the girls who exemplified warmth and Ahavas Yisroel? How about the unforgettable Shiurim with Rabbi Wenger?
Our staff was fun and inclusive. They captured our attention as a whole and individualized their care for each of us. They were role models par excellence. I remember the counselors who created a special bunk atmosphere, cared about each camper’s day, and led by example with patience and gentleness. Let’s not forget the uncompromised Chassidishkeit yet insane fun and craziness.
Back in my school days when peer pressure was real and the days were long, it was the strength that Pardas Chanah gave me, to choose chassidishkiet, to choose the real, rich life that I am so privileged to lead – to be proud and to be kind.
To this day, it’s the fire that Pardas Chanah has given, that pushes me to grow and not be afraid to do what’s right. The power of truth never fails and never goes out of style.
Now, a voice within me rings back: “How can I give back?” I am left with the realization that I must do something to show my gratitude for the life-changing experiences I had at Camp Pardas Chanah.
I believe in the impact that Pardas Chanah has on young girls and their families. It’s not just about the fun and games – it’s about the lasting effects of a camp experience.
So, I encourage you to donate to Pardas Chanah today. Your contribution will help ensure that more girls have the opportunity to attend this incredible camp and experience the same ripple effect that has shaped my life for the better.
Pardas Chanah, with its rich history of more than 50 years of service, is undergoing an exciting transformation. The camp, known for providing an enriching chassidishe summer program, is now looking to upgrade and expand its facilities.

Everything written here is 100% true. As a 12th grader who spent her formative years at PC, I can definitely feel a passion for Chassidishkiet I credit to PC. And ofc the insane fun and craziness with tons of Chassidishkiet pouring in. PC always had such a warm vibe and I remember marveling how I felt so comfortable striking up conversation with anyone in PC when in school I was a shy kid. Hatzlacha Rabbah!
I went there last year for the first time and I loved it so much!
