Police are currently on the scene of a developing hostage situation involving a barricaded individual at 514 East New York Avenue near Brooklyn Avenue in Crown Heights.
According to emergency updates, officers have surrounded the building and are communicating with the suspect over loudspeaker. Medical units are staging nearby, and an advanced life support ambulance has been requested.
No injuries have been reported so far, but officials are urging community members to avoid the area entirely to allow law enforcement and first responders to operate safely.
Traffic around the block has been redirected.

All that happened was some one went in to the police station and said there is a man with a gun at this address so they want a police car to To check and the drunk and high Man told the police he would shoot them so the police called for back up and he did not cooperate and they called for more back up brought squad teams.
