History’s Heroes ~ Avraham ~ Edible Cookie Dough
Hi Boys and Girls! Welcome back “History’s Heroes” Where we learn about our favorite Jewish Heroes and craft, paint, or experiment, along the way!
Highlight: Avraham
Hashem granted the land of Israel to Avraham for the benefit of his descendants. Throughout his life, Avraham faced ten tests given to him by Hashem, including Akeidas Yitzchak. By fulfilling Hashem’s command to offer Yitzchak as a sacrifice, he demonstrated complete dedication to Hashem that went beyond logic. In doing so, he opened the channel of Mesiras Nefesh (self-sacrifice) for all Jews for all time.
Today, we will channel our inner Avraham by preparing a delicious dessert for our guests and family to enjoy. Just like Avraham, who only served the best, we will get our hands messy in the kitchen as we make “The Best” Edible Cookie Dough. Typically, cookie dough is inedible due to the presence of raw eggs and the requirement to be baked. However, this no-bake recipe is absolutely scrumptious and safe to eat, allowing you to experiment with unlimited flavors. Don’t forget to make a bracha and enjoy!
Please join our contest, where we raffle off 2 Tickets to the Jewish Children’s Museum, when a completed project (picture or video) is sent to [email protected] . Hatzlacha J
