20 Cheshvan marks the birthday of the fifth Rebbe of Chabad, the Rebbe Rashab.
Rabbi Sholom DovBer became known as the “Rambam of Chassidus Chabad,” for his ability to organize topics in Chassidus.
In 1897 the Rebbe Rashab established Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch, an institution which now has branches in every corner of the world.
The Rebbe Rashab passed away in Rostov on 2 Nissan, 1920 (5680). Among his final words were: “I am going to heaven; the writings I leave for you…,” a reference to the thousands of manuscripts that he penned.
In honor of this special day, JEM presents videos of the Rebbe related to the Rebbe Rashab. For more information go to Chabad.org/272209
