On Sunday Night, 28th Sivan, members of Anash of Sydney, Australia, joined together in the spirit of achdus to learn the Rebbe’s Maamorim in one room.
Over 100 people participated in the event, including many rabbinic and communal members throughout Sydney. This is the first time Sydney has experienced an event like this.
The room was electrifying, with some commenting, “Wow, this is the 1st time Sydney has seen a room filled with everyone learning The Rebbe’s Maamorim,” and “The sound of everyone learning is incredible.” Many communal members were left uplifted by the event, excited to use this as a platform to organize many like events in the future.
A year (5736) of The Rebbe’s Maamorim was divided between all the attendees, and their names will be part of a Duch to be read at the Ohel.
The event was part of a greater global initiative to collectively learn all the Rebbe’s maamorim before the auspicious day of Gimmel Tammuz. The event took place in over 20 locations throughout the world, spearheaded by Josh Goldhirsch and coordinated by Schneier Lange. The official program concluded with a goral for a ticket to the Rebbe for Gimmel Tammuz.
The winner of Sydney’s Gorel was Danny Winterfeld. The Sydney Event was organized by Moishe Amzalak.
Well done Sydney. Such Nachas to The Rebbe.
