The excitement was palpable at Bais Chana Academy High School in Orange, CT, as students enjoyed the many meaningful and fun activities throughout Chanukah.
From bringing joy to the elderly at local nursing homes, to assisting the preschool grades with Chanukah crafts and songs, and so much in between, every day was filled with Chanukah spirit.
Under the guidance of Bais Chana madricha, Shterny Levitin, students were able to both give and receive. The highlight of the week was a trip to Soarin Indoors, an indoor ropes course, where students were encouraged to reach new heights.
“Chanukah at Bais Chana was a great experience,” remarked 11th grader, Chana Katz. “To have been given opportunities to share the light of Chanukah with others, and at the same time to enjoy the numerous programs the school arranged for us, brightened Chanukah in so many ways.”
