From the Aliya Institute:
Many young adults gathered together for a night of joy an inspiration and to celebrate the last night of Chanukah.
Zos Chanukah represents the full energy and power of Chanukah in a state of actuality rather than potential as we light all 8 candles. This actuality was heavily expressed and experienced at Aliya. There were many talented bands and musicians playing a variety of genres and plenty of hot latkes, pizza and doughnuts to keep the spirit high.
These very talented young artists both inspired the crowd with their lyrics and got the crowd up and dancing. Special thanks to the artists: Shevach Tamir, Moishe Katzen, Menachem Malka, Shaul Nemsov, Menachem Silverstien, Baurch Liampe, Benzion Mizrachi, Moishe Borenstien, David Nesher, Mordecahi Carr and every one else that came to watch and celebrate.
The concert came to a pause at midnight to light the giant menorah in front of Aliya for the final time this year. Dovid Gajer lit the menorah and many other small menorahs were lit through the night. For some it was their first time lighting this Chanukah and the power of the energy they felt by lighting on Zos Canuka at Aliya also lit up the first 7 nights.
