Mrs. Hesha Turner, a long-time resident of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, 11 Shvat, 5782.
She was 92.
Hesha was known for her extraordinary hachnosas orchim. She would spend hours each day saying tehillim for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and for many others. Hesha was also actively involved with the Nshei Chabad of Chicago, and served as the treasurer for many years. Hesha together with her husband Shabsi supported many Chabad mosdos in Chicago, as well as various campaigns that the Rebbe launched over the years.
Hesha was a true akeres habayis, and aishes chayil.
Hesha had recently moved to Crown Heights with her husband, Shabsi.
She is survived by her husband, Shabsi Chaim Turner, and her children Michal Lesches, Itchie Turner, and Miriam Krinsky.
She was predeceased by her son Yaakov Reuven Turner obm.
The levaya will be taking place tomorrow Friday, 12th of Shevat, at 10am from Shomrei Hadas and passing 770 around 11am, and will continue on to the Old Montefiore Cemetery.
The family will be sitting shiva in Crown Heights at 1245 Carroll St.
