They helped hundreds of people. All the time there kitchen was open. To feed the hospital people the needy and those who had children. Please help them. This is real and the vaad of people running this can attest to the need

If you look at all of grown up Chabad children who were born in NMB, including my own, you should know that when those children were born, we as parents NEVER had to worry about how our families would have supper for the next 2 weeks, including shabbos (and shalom zachors) because the Bashers always took care of that for us.

Just one of the many chessed acts of the Basher family.

I grew up in North Miami Beach, one of my earliest memories of Herschel z’l was when they hosted one of the first moshiach seudas in NMb some 28? Years ago. Herschel always had a smile on his face, in fact, in my entire life, I never once saw Herschel get mad. His and his wife’s struggles to have kids, for years, was known. Bh the good Lord finally blessed them with many kids and Herschel and family looked forward to many happy years. God had other plans and today a family and community grieves.
