The New York City Office of Emergency Management today issued a travel advisory for Friday, March 20.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 6 AM Friday, March 20, through 2 AM Saturday, March 21.
Snow will begin Friday morning and will continue throughout the day. The snow will begin to intensify in the afternoon with the heaviest snow expected to fall during the Friday evening rush.
The snow will taper off late Friday evening.
A total of 4 to 6 inches is expected.
New Yorkers are asked to exercise caution and be prepared for limited visibility and slippery conditions when traveling.
