Levi Lewin, a young bochur learning in the Tzeirei Hashluchim Yeshiva in Tzfas, Israel, passed away suddenly on Tzom Gedalya at the age of 16.
Levi was the son of Rabbi Dovid and Devorah Leah Lewin, dedicated Shluchim in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.
He passed away from complications related to an existing medical condition.
Levi was known as a special, serious, and studious bochur. He loved to learn, and would study for many long hours without a break. He was very genuine in his Chassidishkeit, and he was interested in learning about every subject. He had amazing general knowledge in Yiddishkeit.
Levi was also a great friends to his peers, helping other students in their studies, moving from one to another of those who needed help.
“He always had a smile on his face,” a member of the Yeshiva Hanhalla told COLlive. “He had a special Chayus in Ahavas Yisroel, and a good relationship with all types of people. He loved his friends, who also loved him.”
His passing has left a devastated family, community and Yeshiva.
“While these praises can be said about many bochurim, every word is true about Levi,” the Madrichim of the Yeshiva added.
Please assist his parents, Rabbi Dovid and Devorah Leah Lewin, as they face unexpected crucial expenses during this difficult time.
