The 770 Maos Chitim fund is raising $200,000 over the week to purchase food and vital Pesach supplies for more than 150 Crown Heights families. Every penny donated in the campaign will quadrupled by generous matching donors, the Drizin, Holtzberg and Sperlin families.
Pesach presents financial hardships and difficulty to many within our community, but for families who already struggling financially be it because of joblessness, medical bills, or other hardships, the expenses of this Yom tov can be particularly debilitating.
Supporting those in need with “Kimcha d’Pischa“ is not only a time honored Jewish tradition, it is one of the most important halachos of Pesach, taking precedence over many other Pesach Mitzvos and minhagim.
The matching campaign is for a limited time only and will end on March 29 at midnight. Please donate generously so we can ensure our very own friends, family and neighbors are taken care of in a discreet, dignified way.

They said more than 150 family’s. That’s is where the rest of the money goes, to the 151st, 152nd, and 153rd
if you have 150 families and you raised $160,000 does each family get $1,000??
if not, where does the rest of the money go to?
