Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Pevzner’s wife, his seven children, his parents, and his siblings were left behind when he tragically passed away Erev Yom Kippur 5783. Rabbi Chaim Pevzner was a young husband and father, who was dedicated to his role as a Shliach in Perginan, France. The levaya took place in France, only hours before Yom Kippur began.
We, as Klal Yisroel, are devastated by this news, and want to show our love and achdus with the Pevzner family by supporting them in any way we can. Every Yid’s pain is our pain and we must show up for every single one.
This is why we are calling on all of our brothers and sisters around the world to donate to this campaign, which will help set the family on secure footing for their unimaginable journey ahead. In Aseres Yemei Teshuva, when every Yid seeks to acquire zechusim that will secure us a Gmar Chasimah Tova, let us make our case before the Avi Yesomim by supporting his newly-orphaned children and ensuring that they are cared for in the years ahead. Rabbi Chaim’s wife, Rochel, and his seven children, Mendel, Minda, Chaya Mushka, Perel, Dina, Leah and Neshi, are each precious and deserving of our help. Our Father in Shamayim, the Avi Yesomim, will surely repay us for looking out for his dear children.
This is so heartbreaking! We grew up together, and I’ll always remember Mutel’s kind, giving personality. Even while he struggled with health challenges in recent years, he remained positive and would call me to discuss how to help others in need. His wife Rochel was also with me in seminary and is such a sweet, special person. May Hashem repay all those who are able to donate to his beautiful, grieving family! Moshiach now!! To my dear aunt and uncle and the entire family: Hamokom Yenachem Eschem B’soch Shaar Evelei Tzion V’Yerushalayim.
