We wear the color BLACK as a form of modesty and humbleness. Black signifies being plain, not flashy. Not drawing attention to oneself. Humility, modesty and Humble ness…that is how you should carry yourself.

To #1: why black?

we wear the impractical, black, crushed rabbit fur hats b/c we follow the rebbe’s dress code (sorta, anyway).

also, all is relative. be thankful the rebbe didn’t end up wearing a spodik. those cost alot more.

Halevay back to Kasketlach like Chassidim wore in Russia. All the maalos: cheaper, washable, long lasting, more comfortable on the head, when sitting around at a Farbrengen or shiur or watching a living torah video no need to take off your hat, etc. etc.

I’m dreaming about this since the good old times by Hakofos and Farbrengens by the Rebbe . . .

Just wondering

Just wondering
Does supporting Jewish businesses come into the equation at all? Is it not time to break Borsalino’s nasty monopoly and gauging practices?

How long until we will be able to buy the “made in China ” version of Borsalino for about $7.50 each retail.

If we had true leaders they would announce that everyone should wear a black baseball cap ($5) instead of a $250 hat!
