Reb Motul Pevzner was the lifeline for his wife and seven children, the youngest at the age of 2, before he tragically passed away this past Erev Yom Kippur.
Due to the short time, the levaya and kevurah took place the same day, in his Makom Hashlichus, Perpignan – France. His innocent son visiting the Rebbe for Tishrei sat shiva for only a few hours until the start of Yom Kippur.
Motul to those that knew him was a man who fought the unprecedented to live a life above and beyond. He raised a loving and warm home with his wife Rochel (née Itkin), and was Moser Nefesh for a life dedicated to his shlichus.
Can we stand by and watch idly?

”How good and how pleasant it would be,” the Rebbe says, “if on this day—a day
whose theme is the sweetening of Divine judgments—each and every person would
give more tzedakah than what they ordinarily would.”
His tragic passing is painful and heart rending beyond comprehension, and the funds needed to secure her children’s future is too great for this struggling family to bear.
