Following the Law
December 28, 2011 3:39 pm

In the case of the Mitzvah Tank Parade, the “law” is that the parade has to stay together. The NYPD facilitates this in coordination with the Mitzvah Tank Office. It is pretty difficult for the drivers, but they have to go through lights and try to prevent pedestrians from breaking through the parade line as that causes a lot of technical difficulties in keeping the parade together.

Drivers need to obey the law & be safe
December 28, 2011 2:39 pm

Funny and very nice.
But this also shows that everything we do is judged, even our (sometimes lousy) driving. Drivers, please get a route map and stop for red lights and pedestrains. Besides, who needs the trouble that could ensue from an accident? On a lesser note, you’ll end up with a much longer delay, and a load of embarassment, if a cop stops you. And the cop would be right.

Just a slight correction...

I’m the “girl” you mention above and I’m a middle aged married mother of 4! Thanks for the compliment though 🙂

Feel Good

I started with a little chuckle, then turned to laughing and ending off feeling emotional. This article is so nice, and I could not help feeling so special to be Lubavitch.

It is also amazing how we bring up our kids to be so not prejudiced where they can just express joy without worrying how people may perceive them.
