* We meditate on the “Hayom Yom” of today. This is a day for reflection and taking on Hachlotos Toivos, and it is appropriate to read additional details in Sefer Haminhogim p. 85.
On his birthday, one should spend time in seclusion. He should recall his experiences and think deeply into them. He should then repent and correct those (of his past deeds) that need correction and repentance. ~ Hayom Yom, 11 Nissan
One’s birthday is a time to reflect. As Chassidim, the Rebbe’s birthday is a time for us to reflect on our connection to him.
Throughout the years, the Rebbe would mark his own birthday by requesting from his followers to make new commitments in his merit. Whether it was opening a new Chabad House or resolving to lay Tefillin every day, the Rebbe’s birthday was always an opportunity for all of us to grow.
As we pray to be reunited with the Rebbe to yet celebrate 124 years since his birth, we look towards the Rebbe’s own words for guidance and inspiration as we mark this day.
Sign the Pan Kloli:
On the day of Yud Alef Nissan, a Pan Kloli, signed by all Chassidim will be presented at the Ohel. You can add your name and your mother’s name by visiting www.aguch.org/pankloli or by emailing [email protected] . The Pan will be read at 2 PM (EST).
Presented here is a beautiful collection of clips from 11 Nissan throughout the years.

In honor of the ba’al menagen, R’ Aharon ben Shneur Zalman HaKohen Blesofsky ע״ה, his sons have composed an uplifting niggun, meyusad on the tenuos of Reb Aharon.
The niggun is founded on the opening two pesukim of the Rebbe’s new kapitel, Kapitel קכד:
שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת הַבֹּטְחִים בַּה׳ כְּהַר צִיּוֹן לֹא יִמּוֹט לְעוֹלָם יֵשֵׁב:

Approaching the Rebbe’s 123rd birthday, a group of Bochurim came together to express over 33 years of history, hope and emotions in a revived Nigun that the Rebbe heard and encouraged.
This Nigun to the words of Orech Yomim, by Reb Faitel Levin, is one of the Nigunim composed for that Yud Alef Nissan.
Reb Faitel sent a cassette of his Nigun to the Rebbe. It was later related by those present, that the Rebbe listened to the Nigun for a remarkably long time, showing strong signs of satisfaction and encouragement.
