It may be selfish, but celebrating with little Moishe gives us strangers comfort and symbolizes Hashem’s kindness in giving us this promise of life wrapped within the darkness and terror of his parents’ death. I, for one, intend to “check in” on Moishe regularly. Mazal Tov, you sweet angel!

MAZEL TOV MOISHY TILL 120

Just a fact
November 11, 2010 5:20 am

The problem isn’t that he is celebrating, the problem that everyone feels they have the right to stick their noses into his life.

mazel tov!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
November 11, 2010 12:29 am

he looks soo cute! and different from just a couple of years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just my opinion...
November 10, 2010 3:56 pm

He shouldn’t be punished for the publicity that covered his unusual destiny and not to be allowed to celebrate like the others do for special occasions. He can’t avoid the fact he is special and known for the others. It is up to the others to let him be what he and his family think is best for him at every stage of his growth and life, and just let him be like the others respecting his need to share good moments with the people and may G-d those to be only good events from now on…

True, he may not be fully aware of the attention he’s getting, but it won’t be long before he is. How would you like to grow up with the knowledge that there are people saying your kapittel every day, and everyone is waiting anxiously to see how you turn out?

Mazal tov!
November 10, 2010 7:18 am

I lite kandles for three of them every Shabbos.

NORMAL LIFE?? He is!
November 9, 2010 11:30 pm

He is leading a more then semi normal life!!!!!Having pictures of his birthday up are for our benefit and I assure you dont disrupt his normal life. Any child has someone at his party snapping pictures. He doesn’t know those same pics are going on COL for everyone to see! When he starts getting old enough to realize he is somewhat famous I’m sure his grandparents will make the right decisions for him. As for now, live and let live, and let us- the public, have something to smile about.

A Freilichen Geburtz Tog!

dearest Moishe’le, happy 4th birthday! We love you so so much. You change the world.

November 9, 2010 11:20 pm

I think he has as normal a life as possible after all he has been through. Does it bother you so much that Moishe is shown in the public for his birthday, that people are celebrating with him, giving him attention. It’s not like he has paparazi following him around all day, this is a special time for him.

mazel tov!
November 9, 2010 10:52 pm

i totaly agree with #17 and 15. he went through so much, why cant he lead a semi normal life now?

bittersweet tears
November 9, 2010 5:22 pm

I’m literally sitting in a Starbucks on my laptop in tears. May his parents (shluchim of the Rebbe and martyred kedoshim) contantly watch over for him, and soon be reunited with their Moishe’le, in bodies.

November 9, 2010 2:23 pm

Time to move on, leave the poor kid alone! He’s gone through enough, he doesn’t need the world breathing down his neck.

#10 moshi is a few days older than my son so I’ve also taken upon myself to say that kapital twice. Once for my son and once for the son of klal yisroel.

Mazel Tov and Happy Birthday!

I too say an extra kapitel for him every day as he is a week younger than my twin boys. He is always in my prayers. Moshe’le, we wish you only the best from hereon – B’Tov Hanir’ah V’Haniglah B’Gashmiyus U’Biruchniyus. Wishing you a Shnas Brocha V’Hatzlocha.

#5, Moishele is exactly two days older than my own child. Every year for the past two years, I felt so connected to him as I’ve celebrated my own child’s excitement at reaching the age of 2, 3 and 4 and iyh many many years, chaim nitzchin! Thank you for this lovely idea which I can easily incorporate.
