Isn’t it “”No meat AND WINE (besides for havdolo) until next morning”?
So glad I listened
Alter rebbe says in siddur not say…?????
As always Rabbi Shusterman is clear and concise. Thank you.
Rav Y. Shusterman is the Rav @ Lubavitch of N. Beverly Hills as well as the Rav & Dayan of the entire Lubavitch community of Los Angeles, together with Rav Rav S.Raichik, they both do an amazing job, Go Rabbi Shusterman !!
It didn’t seem so clear, but not only meat and wine cannot be eaten after sunset on Shabbos, but the fast actually begins at sunset. All eating and drinking are forbidden then.
The Rebbe did go in the car on Tisha B’av at night and come back to 770 in the morning.
Rabbi Krinsky would put a piece of wood for the rebbe to sit on. I believe in the earlier years the Rebbe walked to and from 770 on Tisha B’av
Thank you
