The beautiful Popack Recreational Center and gym at Oholei Torah will, once again, be open for elementary school boys to play basketball every Monday night from 6 to 8 PM.
Games are played in a spirit of Ahavas Yisroel and overseen by caring, responsible adults. 4th and 5th graders also receive some basic coaching on how to play.
The two hours will be broken up into two time slots. 6-7 PM will be for boys in grades four through six. 7-8 PM will be for boys in grades seven and eight.
The YAM program and the Crown Heights Jewish Community Council are spearheading this project. Volunteers are always needed to assist with this project as well as sponsors.

That’s nice. Let’s make a girls night too. Do it the same night as girls’ swimming. Same idea, open play with some light coaching. My girls would love to run around and play some basketball. Who’s with me?!

Do the boys have to pay ?
yes – $5 at the door, less in advance
