Chabad Lubavitch of West Brighton Beach in Brooklyn, NY, recently wrapped up a unique months-long course for Russian speaking Jewish residents.
Written and delivered by Hatomim Benzion Laskin, the Kabballah and Chassidus course was taught with textbooks and slide shows.
Over 50 people took an active part in the studying, among them young adults and professors from the Weitzman Institute visiting from Israel for advanced study.
“We initiated the course as a preparation for Gimmel Tammuz,” Laskin said.
The program concluded with a visit to the Rebbe’s Ohel in Queens with Brighton Beach Shliach Rabbi Zushe Winner and Laskin where they said ‘L’Chaim.’
