A “Walking in Your Mother’s Shoes” event brought together mothers, daughters, and educators at Magen Israel School for Achos Temimim Girls in Great Neck, New York, for a morning filled with unity, spirituality, and heartfelt connections.
The event began with a moving davening session, where participants sang all the tefilos and recited Hallel together for Rosh Chodesh Iyar.
One parent shared that it had been years since she had davened in such unity, bringing tears of joy to her eyes.
Rebbetzin Tamar Chayempour‘s words added depth to the morning, inspiring reflection and gratitude among the attendees. Her insights resonated deeply, fostering meaningful connections.
The event also included joyful moments like a lavish breakfast and a crafting session creating a “Davening Diary.” The “In Your Mother’s Shoes” game encouraged continued reflection and connection at home.
