Commemorating the 76th yahrzeit of Reb Levi Yitzchok, the Rebbe’s father, Merkos 302 has organized a day of learning, lectures and farbrengens celebrating his life, teachings and legacy.
The broadcast is open virtually to Shluchim, Anash, and Mekurovim worldwide and will take place at chofav.com next Monday, on Chof Av (August 10).
The program will feature an array of sessions starting with a Chassidus shiur in the morning, going onto videos of the Rebbe, a documentary of Reb Levi Yitzchok’s life, shiurim on his teachings, panels, firsthand accounts, and a presentation by the Jewish Learning Institute (JLI).
The day will culminate in a family-friendly grand farbrengen, with four live streams in English, Hebrew, Russian and Spanish, featuring noted mashpiim and Shluchim including Rabbis Moshe Kotlarsky, Leib Schapiro, Yossi Jacobson, Shais Taub, Berel Lazar, Mendel Feller, Dovid Dubov, Efraim Mintz, and more with niggunim led by the inimitable Avraham Fried.
The Rebbe said that it’s a zechus and chova, a privilege and obligation, to learn Reb Levi Yitzchok’s teachings on the day of his yahrzeit. This program aims to highlight the life, teachings and legacy of Reb Levi Yitzchok and apply the lessons to our daily lives.
