Have any of you read the book? Rabbi Jacobson is describing the Rebbe! L’havdil Glenn is taking this out of context and applying it to politics. Not ufaratza. This is a perversion of our ideas. yes, we are supposed to be a “light unto the nations”. I don’t think you can compare a political leader to someone of the caliber of the Rebbe. Glenn Beck is a brilliant host and wasn’t kicked off tv. His contract expired and he decided to try a new online network (and keep all the proceed$). I watched him for several years and he discusses issues that are not covered by the mainstream press. He does it very well. His research is superb, his analyses is brilliant and he allows his audience to draw their own conclusions. He’s a very fine man and a Jewish friend of the Jewish community. You don’t have to agree politically with a man to commend him for his fine qualities.
You can’t get a full picture just by watching a few clips of him praising Israel or reading from A Meaningful Life. Anyone who watched his former show on Fox knows that he’s completely off the spectrum.

Glen Beck is a G-d fearing man. He is a bright man.
And I do believe he is genuine!!

That’s nice but Glenn Beck is still a lunatic, not to be taken seriously, and should not be invited to speak at Chabad houses. Kinship with Israel should not be reason enough to run after him.
