The large Tishrei tent is once again being built on Eastern Parkway, marking the ninth year of what has become a central fixture of the month of Tishrei in Crown Heights.
The 5,000-square-foot glass-style structure closes the street in front of 770 for the duration of the Yomim Tovim, providing overflow space as thousands of guests arrive from around the world. Inside, the facility is fully equipped with air-conditioning, generators, and professional lighting, creating space for round-the-clock davening, shiurim, and farbrengens.
For the second year, a dedicated Women’s Pavilion by the women’s plaza is also being constructed, similarly outfitted and designed to accommodate the large numbers of women and girls who spend Tishrei in Crown Heights.
The project is organized and overseen by Rabbis Shmuel Butler, Mendel Mintz and Bentzion Sudak, who coordinate the extensive logistics required to operate the structures throughout the thirty days of the holiday season.
With thousands expected to arrive in the coming days, Crown Heights once again prepares for the unique Tishrei atmosphere, with the tent serving as a central hub for the month’s festivities.

Thank you! especially for the ladies tent.
