As the month of Tishrei draws near, Lubavitchers from all corners of the globe can anticipate a significant upgrade at 770.
The traditional tent, spanning close to 300 feet and serving as a pivotal space for the overflow crowd from 770, is set for a transformative change. Every year, this space enables thousands to daven and learn comfortably.
In collaboration with the Lubavitcher party rental company – A1 Party & Tent Rentals, a new glass temporary structure has been imported from China. Not only will this provide an architectural upgrade with its elegant glass panels and state-of-the-art cooling systems but it will also reinforce the central role this space holds during Tishrei.
“The Rebbe always emphasized, that we continue to push boundaries and aim higher,” said Rabbi Mendel Mintz. “This new structure is not just an aesthetic upgrade; it’s a testament to the flourishing growth of the Rebbe’s army.”
Adding to the enthusiasm, Rabbi Shmuly Butler remarked, “There’s no greater harchava, fitting for Chabad World Headquarters – The Rebbe’s shul.”
The installation process starts this coming Sunday morning, with the aim to have the elegant new structure fully operational by Wednesday morning, ready to welcome the thousands who will gather in its embrace during the month of Tishrei.

I love A1! i support Local Business!
Nobody gets the job done like A-1!!
They’re always there to save the day and they have such a wide variety of options for rentals!
Hatzlacha !
So important to support our own Chabad businesses !! A1 is definitely cutting edge for new structures and ideas to enhance this special Tishrei Mitzva.
I just hope there will be curtains or something to put on the windows.
Watching the cars drive by on EP shouldn’t be part of davening.
If you look at the pictures and the video can clearly see that one side has white panels instead of windows
Im sure that is for the EP side of the tent
This is truly amazing thank you
time to expand 770!!!
Time to put it on Union st…open all year round…
Please provide a solution for women who are coming to 770 to be able to use the sidewalk to get through to the Ezras Noshim. The arrangements till now have been zero. From the westernmost point of the tent, the entrances to the Ezras Noshim on Eastern Parkway have been blocked by the foot traffic between the tent and the shul, and the overflow crowd hanging out on the sidewalk . It would necessitate walking an extra block or even two to be able to circumvent this veritable blockade to get over to the entrance on Kingston Avenue for many… Read more »
Historically the ezras noshim was always smaller and less significant than the Azara were the men were in the Bais Hamikdosh or in Bais Rabbeinu She’B’Bovel.
Shuls are for men, period. They “also” accommodate women, as an afterthought. But let’s not confuse the two.
Where do we donate ?
