Andrew Giuliani, a political analyst and correspondent for the conservative American media outlet Newsmax and son of former Mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani, said he plans on running for governor of New York in 2022.
If he wins the Republican nomination, the 35-year-old will face off with the embattled Democratic incumbent Andrew Cuomo who is under investigation and public scrutiny for personal and professional conduct.
Andrew Giuliani, who served as a Special Assistant to President Donald Trump and is a former professional golfer, told the Washington Examiner: “Outside of anybody named Trump, I think I have the best chance to win and take the state back.”
“I think I’m the right candidate, and this is the right time to help change New York State, and we’ve got a playbook that works,” he stated. “It just shows how terribly Cuomo has run the state into the ground and the truth is the assembly in State Senate is to blame as well.”
Despite a flood of allegations against Cuomo’s treatment of female colleagues and a federal investigation into his handling of COVID-19 in nursing homes, the governor is still expected to run for reelection next year, the Axios political website said.
A Cuomo-Giuliani matchup would set up a clash between two of the most prominent political families in New York, Axios added.
Andrew Giuliani hopes to “challenge Cuomo’s handling of crime, taxes, education, and the mutiny of New Yorkers from the state,” according to the Examiner.
This past Chanukah, Giuliani tweeted a photo of the National Menorah being set up at the White House by American Friends of Lubavitch:

When the Abraham Accords were signed between Israel, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, Giuliani wrote: “A truly historic day at the @WhiteHouse! The United States of America, under @realDonaldTrump will open the door to anyone who desires participation in Democracy!”

Sounds good
New hope!
Who would ever even consider voting for an insane, trump loving republican?
Anyone who wants a break from the insane level of violence and antisemitism in this city. Giuliani made New York safer for us than anyone, and we need him, or someone like him back.
Rural New York
And nyc republicans
Hopeful news!
Anyone with brains 🧠
In no particular order: * People who remember the good that Giuliani Senior did for the city as a whole and for us Jews in particular, and would like to see his son do the same. * People who remember the good that Trump did for the country as a whole (for one example of many, policies that promoted American energy independence, which in fact we reached in 2019) and for us Jews in particular. * People who are well aware how how the media lied and smeared Trump (for example with the “fine people” hoax) * People who realize… Read more »
hope so
Many who see things straight and look at honesty, productivity and humanism as a value. Those who value respect for diversity ( Jews included) and value education, health and quality of life. Those who want to raise their children as proud Jews without constant fear of antisemitism ( which thanks to Cuomo and Deblasio has gone up considerably!!!! And many other considerations that would logically link to voting for him.
Why would you vote for democratic candidates when they are well known that aside from money and corruption don’t hold much accountability and true interest of the public in mind?
Just because someone likes trump you won’t vote for them? What about reading about their policies etc. it doesn’t mean they agree and will have all the same as he did. Grow up.
The people who don’t like Trump and what he stood for won’t like Giuliani and those like him who stood for the same things: Safety, civility, peace without drama, family, economic opportunities etc etc.
Can we vote him into office registered as Democrats?
Thank you
you cant vote for him in the primaries but you can vote for him in the general election
Republicans want to take rights away from women, carry out racist attacks against black communities, hand out guns to everyone, and destroy our democracy!!
Vote for liberals!!
Ask yourself: when conservative women speak their opinions, who calls them demeaning names and denies that they’re “real women”? And which party wants to force women to have to compete against biological men in sports and suchlike, and to deny them privacy in the locker room? Why, that would be Democrats. When black-owned businesses were being burned down in the summer of 2020, which party claimed that these were “peaceful protests” that should be supported? Why, the Democrats again. When we see that there are cities with high levels of gun violence, which party do we find has been running… Read more »
