On 28 Nissan 5751, the Rebbe charged his chassidim with the mission: “Tut Altz Vos Ir Kent- Do all you can to bring Moshiach!” 24 years later to the day, the girls of Cheder Lubavitch Morristown internalized the Rebbe’s words and began working on a bold initiative to do just that.
Presented this past week, the Moshiach Expo was a fantastic debut of creativity, learning and ingenuity, all intended to teach how to bring Moshiach and what the times of Moshiach will look like.
Each class prepared an educational and interactive exhibit. Inspired by their teachers, the girls worked hard on this ambitious project and created unique teaching models and methods about Moshiach.
When classes entered the auditorium, they were greeted by the 4th and 5th grade’s mivtzoim booths. The Rebbe teaches that particular mitzvos help bring Moshiach closer. Students learned about having an ois b’sefer Torah, ahavas yisroel, and mivtza mezuzah, for example.
Once Moshiach comes, we are treated to wonderful scenes and indulgent tastes! The kindergarten and 1st graders put together a delectable ‘candyland’. They showed the wolf and lamb living peacefully together, the seuda of the Leviyosan and Techias Hameisim.
We daven every day for Hashem to rebuild the Beis Hamikdash, and the 6th grade girls constructed amazingly detailed and beautiful replicas of the keilim we will B’ezras Hashem see and use very soon. These talented girls also taught the rest of the school about making our own rooms into a Mikdash Me’at, a true Cheder Tzivos Hashem.
The 7th grade girls of Morristown used stunning kinetic art made famous by the renowned Israeli artist Yaakov Agam, to depict the symmetry between the 7 days of creation, the 7 sfiros, and the 7 millennia of time.
The 2nd and 3rd grade girls skillfully showed how Yidden from all over the world will gather together with the coming of Moshiach: Kibbutz Galios.
Students, faculty, and parents alike marveled at the dazzling showcase of the girls’ ‘kuch’ in Moshiach.
