Gershon Veroba is in the house!
The veteran Jewish composer and performer was in Crown Heights last week to volunteer his time and talent for a group of seniors and special needs adults.
Veroba, featured on over 50 albums, including 12 solo albums of his own, sang his compositions and some of the adaptations and parodies of pop songs that he has become known for.
Joining him on the keyboard was the one man band Pinny Ostreicher, internationally acclaimed harpist Sylvia Kowalczuk and talented violinist R’ Yitzchok Hurwitz of Crown Heights.
The joyful evening was organized by Devorah Scheiner and hosted in the home of Yumi and Zeldy Klein. Boro Park Shliach Rabbi Aaron Ginsburg said the Dvar Torah.
Participants thanked Mrs. Scheiner for organizing these free musical events and the charitable work she does in the Crown Heights community, especially before Jewish holidays.
