Over 1,000 pro-Israel real estate industry leaders were in attendance at the AIPAC Real Estate Division Luncheon at the Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan on Monday.
The event included a networking session and seated meal and program.
The mission of AIPAC is to strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel. Members of Congress who are staunch supporters of Israel are now heavily supported by AIPAC.
General David H. Petraeus, a retired United States Army general and public official who served as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, was the guest speaker at the Luncheon. General Petraeus addressed the importance of AIPAC educating members of Congress on strengthening US-Israeli relations and on combatting the misinformation spread by some members of Congress.
During the luncheon, speakers expanded on AIPAC’s newly formed Political Action Committees and Super PAC.
In recent days, Jason Koppel, Northeast Political Director of AIPAC, has announced AIPAC’s support of Rep. Yvette Clarke, running for reelection for Congresswoman in New York “whose pro-Israel voice helps strengthen and expand the U.S.-Israel relationship,” he said, calling Clarke “an unwavering supporter of America’s relationship with Israel.”
