The now famous red and white ‘Kidnapped’ signs, bringing attention to the the plight of 222 hostages kidnapped by Hamas in the recent massacre on Simchas Torah, are being projected onto the side of the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights.
Organized by Shmuli Kopfstein from Crown Heights, the large display rotates the signs which depict the names of hostages who remain in Hamas captivity in Gaza.
“At the corner of Eastern Parkway and Kingston Avenue, right next to Chabad Lubavitch Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway, we show the world that the Crown Heights community cares,” Kopfstein said.
He thanked Devorah Halberstam, Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson and Rabbi Sholom Ber Baumgarten of the Museum for their assistance.
The initiative is part of a larger project, which will see large projections of the signs in various locations around New York, with one already set up in Miami.
Flood the area that will be the site of that shabbos protest with lots of these signs
Agreed we also need to show statistics of our casualties, wounded and damage done on those signs . Israel is in Gaza for a very good reason and they are far from innocent
They are thirsty for Jewish and American blood horrible and we will not surrender to terror

These signs are needed but maybe a different location would be a better choice-not where hundreds of our own kids walk by everyday and will now have nightmares of kids getting kidnapped
1) Teach your children to be aware of their surroundings. Oftentimes I see parents walking ahead with the baby carriage and the youngster following behind. Someone can c”v grab the kid from behind, covering its mouth. Child trafficking is a real threat. Take it seriously. 2) Do you “stand with your “brothers” in Israel”? Mean what you say! The projection idea is brilliant because two young white women we’re ripping these signs down on Albany and St John.
Let them be forced to see them.
If you see heartless people doing this you must photograph and video them and post in all news sites . They should not be allowed to get away with such despicable behavior!!

Important initiative. I don’t live in CH to see the signs up close. Do the signs have the people’s names with mothers’ names for davenning? Prayer is the key. Only G-d can save us all. Looking at the sign one can say a tefillah, a kapital tehillim Bal peh on the spot… blessings to all.
