The Kinus Hamechanchos Chabad took place this Yud Beis Tammuz, with educators from over 79 schools in 62 cities on 5 continents gathering to be informed, encouraged and inspired.
359 Chabad teachers, educators and principals joined together emphasizing the importance of Chinuch. The live broadcast of the banquet was viewed around the world by more than 500 additional participants.
The two-day Chinuch Convention and retreat in Connecticut was organized by the Menachem Education Foundation (MEF) and produced by Alyson Feldman.
The Mechanachos were very appreciative of the meticulous efforts of Mrs. Chana Rose, the MEF Educational Director and all of the dedicated convention committee heads who assembled this jam-packed program.
The impact of the convention filled the attendees with a wealth of information and enthusiasm of which they will surely utilize this coming year.
The highlight of the first day was the Grand Chinuch Banquet. It featured a special presentation titled “What Does Chabad Chinuch Mean to Me?” shared by Mrs. Rochel Holzkenner of Miami, FL, Mrs. Itty Chazan of Queens, NY and Ms. Davina Shapiro of Camarillo, CA.
Mrs. Devora Krasnianski, Director of the Chabad Early Childhood Education (CECE) Network served as MC, and Mrs. Chaya Bracha Rubin of Maimonides Hebrew Day School, Albany, NY inspired all with her performance of original songs. A special video presentation by MEF entitled “SEEDS” rounded out the evening.
Those present enjoyed a powerful keynote speech by Menachem Education Foundation Founder and Executive Director Rabbi Zalman Shneur:
