Yehuda Taibe OBM, a young husband and father from Crown Heights, was buried in the Old Montefiore Cemetery in Queens, New York on Tuesday.
He is survived by his wife, Racheli, and four children, the youngest only 1 year old.
He is also survived by his parents, Nissim and Chana Taibe, and siblings, Maytal, Carmit and Ronit.
Now, his wife is navigating the unimaginable: mourning her husband while trying to care for their children, manage household responsibilities, and prepare to welcome a newborn.
A fund is being set up to help ease some of the immediate financial stress and allow Yehuda’s wife to focus on her family during this incredibly painful time. Donations will go toward basic living expenses, mortgage payments, childcare, bills, and anything they need to in the months ahead.
Please donate to help his wife as she is left to support her family.
Rabbi Lazer Avtzon, Rav of Merkaz Sefarad and the Sefardic community in Crown Heights, is one of several Rabbonim who will overseeing the distribution of funds.
