Sholom Dov Ber Markel, a young boy from Pittsburgh, PA, passed away suddenly on Monday, Chof Av, 5783 at the age of 4.
Sholom Dov Ber was the son of Dovid and Goldie Markel (nee Weinstein) of Pittsburgh, PA. He is survived by his parents, Dovid and Goldie Markel, and siblings Menachem Mendel, Chaya Mushka, and Yosef Yitzchak.
He is also survived by his grandparents, Rabbi Shmuel and Sara Weinstein – Pittsburgh, PA and Rabbi Amiram and Esther Markel – Las Vegas.
Friends of the Markel family have set up a fund to assist the family in their time of grief. The money will be used for funeral expenses and to ease financial stress of the family for the immediate future.
We await the day when “Hashem will wipe away tears from off all faces,” with the coming of Moshiach now.
