A good deal of the first day of the boys’ session in CGI Toronto was spent at the lake. The campers had enjoyed swimming and boating. The highlight of the water activities was climbing up and sliding down the newly installed 18 ft. slide.
But, the next day was Rosh Chodesh Menachem Av.
When planning the program the head staff was determined to ensure that during the 9 days the boys have an enjoyable week. It was not easy, but they accomplished what they set out to do.
Instead of the campers going off grounds, a variety of exciting activities were brought to the camp located at 1726 Gan Israel Trail in Haliburton.
The boys were offered On-site Lazer tag, Archery, Carnival, Fireworks show, 18 foot waterslide and more.
“We are pleased to provide a meaningful and fun-filled experience here at Camp Gan Israel,” said Rabbi Itchy Grossbaum, the camp director.
