Last year, a Bat Mitzvah girl from Chicago asked her parents for a special gift, to sponsor a Bat Mitzvah party for needy girls somewhere in the world.
Her wish came true last weel in the Children’s home of Moscow.
The Bat Mitzvah girl’s community Rabbi, Mendy Goldstein from Illinois, connected the family with the director of the Children’s home which was more than happy to take up their offer.
The special Bar Mitzvah party for three of the institutes’ girls was celebrated. Shira, Leah and Rebecca enjoyed a fabulous dairy menu, dancing, an original video production, beautiful gifts and social activities and games – making their big day an everlasting experience for life.
