What is a home? Where do you feel the most at home? What in your home most speaks to you?
Partnering with the Bear Givers Foundation and their EmpowerArt program, members of the Friendship Circle have created unique pieces of art, and we invite the entire community to browse through these treasures and with your keen artistic eye recognize the true value of THIS art.
Each piece tells a different story, but all showcase a tremendous artistic ability.
Last year, attendees enjoyed viewing the unique masterpieces created by Friendship Circle participants. “I am simply blown away by the pieces that were on display. What talent!
This one event taught me so much about the Special Community! Thank you for including us in your work.”
For the 11th year running, the Friendship Circle’s Art of Friendship Gallery will be open this Sunday, 6 Iyar – May 4, from 3:00-5:00pm at the Jewish Children’s Museum. At the Art of Friendship Gallery, the artwork that the members of Friendship Circle created will be displayed in a beautiful gallery, for the greater Crown Heights community to view.
There will be fun activities and light refreshments for the entire family to enjoy!
There will be face painting, balloons, crafts, and food.
This event is free of charge. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the children’s artwork will benefit the Friendship Circle of Brooklyn.
