As twilight descended upon the cityscape, the 1010 Wilshire downtown rooftop blossomed into a bustling Garden Party, welcoming over 400 guests to the Gala Dinner of the Friendship Circle of Los Angles, led by Rabbi Michy and Miriam Rav-Noy.
This celebrated 21 years of cherished friendships and the invaluable contributions of volunteers.
Against the backdrop of urban lights, the evening unfolded with a vibrant tapestry of inclusivity, ensuring that every attendee felt embraced and catered to. The scent of delicious cuisine filled the air as attendees made their way to the amazing buffet crafted by MBT Events. From savory appetizers to decadent desserts, the spread was a feast for the senses topped off by expertly crafted cocktails.
Custom kippahs and the opportunity to wrap tefillin provided guests with a way to deepen their spiritual connection, enriching the event with mitzvot. Guests were beckoned with the enchanting allure of a magic mirror photo booth. With a wave of their hand or a flash of their smile, the mirror captured their image. Every snapshot became a keepsake, a memento of the magical moments shared at the event. Meanwhile, the live personalized sweatshirts had attendees lined up eagerly as skilled technicians used handheld equipment to create custom designs on their sweatshirts that were ready on the spot. Each garment became an expression of style and Jewish pride.
This evening was especially unique by design. MC’d by our very own participants who took to the stage and led the evening. Heartfelt tributes and gestures of gratitude filled the air, accenting the profound impact of the honorees, Meira and Zev Amster.
Everyone was deeply inspired by the insights of our keynote speaker and community member, Shlomo Meyers. The night danced on, with recognition of our MVP graduates, Fellowship Award and the Noah Arnold Heart and Soul Award recipients, beautifully highlighting the mitzvah of supporting each other. The evening concluded with appreciation, painting the skyline with the radiant glow of camaraderie and celebration.
