Nearly 2 years after his record breaking album “Retzoneinu Liros es Malkeinu” superstar Chassidic singer Avraham Fried is releasing a new album of all Yiddish songs, titled “Ah Mechaye!”
This is not the singer’s first Yiddish album, having released Yiddishe Oitzrois 1 and 2 in the past, singing the songs of composer Yom Tov Ehrlich, beloved classics such as “The Leaf and the Worm,” “Yosef Mokir Shabbos,” “The Torah and the Nations” and more.
Now, he will be releasing this all new album with 13 Yiddish songs, some newly composed for this album alongside some well known classics.
The top names in the Jewish music world were involved in the making of the album, such as Pinky Weber, Lipa Schmeltzer, Avremi G, Naftali Schnitzler, Yuval Stoppel, Yitzy Waldner, Ruli Ezrachi, Eli Loshinsky and others.
The album is set to be released mid-Elul.

1. Avraham Fried comes from a Rabbonishe family who were Bobover Chassidim. I am sure he has a personal geshmak when singing in the accent he must have heard at home as a child. 2. Avraham Fried appeals to many audiences. He sings in various styles and genre’s, languages and accents. Its wonderful to hear the variety, and am sure this is one of his reasons of success. 3.
