Crown Heights residents Avremel Piekarski, Levi Jacobson and Chony Milecki speak about what they have been lacking for years and what they discovered to infuse their life with meaning.
The short film, filmed by Shlomo Chaim Rivkin of Rivkin Media, is a revealing look at 3 Crown Heights businessmen who relate that learning the Rebbe’s Torah has completely changed their lives.
The film was produced by Vaad Or V’Chom Hahiskashrus in conjunction with their program to unite Chabad communities around the world in learning the Rebbe’s Torah in preparation for the upcoming 70th anniversary of the Rebbe’s ascension to the nesius on Yud Shevat.
Their worldwide study campaign has picked up steam, and organizers say that over 100 communities have joined the campaign, and together have already pledged to learn over 85% of the Rebbe’s Torah.

Many who have joined the campaign have expressed similar sentiments.
“Communities large and small have gathered to take part in the project, and have learned all parts of the Rebbe’s Torah – from a farbrengen on a summer shabbos, a deep maamar, or a letter to a Jew facing a challenge,” organizers told COLlive. “So many have found practical relevance to their lives through learning. They say this is only the beginning, they plan to continue with the communal and individual learning for a long time to come.”
The campaign invites communities (70strong.world) as well as individuals (70strong.world/general) to join.
Add your action to the global campaign now for a chance to win a flight to New York for Yud Shevat
First drawing Monday, Rosh Chodesh Shevat.
