The first two winners of the Project Seventy Years Strong raffle have been announced.
A raffle was held for a ticket from anywhere in the world to New York for Yud Shvat (or $770 gift certificate to Kehos), for all those who participate in the program in preparation for the 70th year of the Rebbe’s leadership by learning the Rebbe’s Torah and/or doing Mivtzoim.
From London to Las Vegas, from Yerushalayim to Argentina, tens of communities, hundreds of Yidden and thousands of Mitzvos are coming together to be Seventy Years Strong in honor of Yud Shevat.
This first-of its-kind campaign’s goal is to unite Chassidim worldwide to learn and complete all of the Rebbe’s Torah and reach 70,000 new (additional) Yidden in connection with Shivim Shanah of Yud Shevat. A central feature of this global campaign is a unique (crowdfunding like) website where all communities and participants register their commitments and achievements from around the world.
The winners are:
Rabbi Chezky Thaler – Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Shaul Mizrahi – Buenos Aires, Argentina
The next drawing will be held on this Motzei Shabbos, Parshas Bo.
There are 2 ways to enter the raffle:
Participate in learning at least one unit from the Chaluka, and enter it on the website.
Reach out to another Yid to encourage them to do a Mitzvah; be it Tefillin, Shabbos candles, Ois Besefer Torah or whatever Mitzvah you can, and enter it on the website.
Either of these will get you a raffle ticket, and if you do both you’ll get 2 tickets.
