Just shows that Hashem runs the world. Still get your polio shot, no question about that. But Hashem can do anything.

He wasn’t. What it says is that the strain originally came from an oral vaccine, but he himself wasn’t vaccinated.

Waiting now for all the anti vaxxers to say polio isn’t dangerous… (history repeats itself because people don’t remember)

This is false

He had the vaccine

He is unvaccinated

Where did you read that he was vaccinated?
July 22, 2022 8:56 pm

From all the news reports I’ve read, the man who got.polio was not vaccinated. He may have contracted it by someone who took the live oral vaccine which has the side effect of sometimes inducing polio. We don’t give that vaccine in the states anymore. I’m actually quite anti vax when it comes to the new covid vaccine, which I thought was more harmful than helpful, but I’d be beside myself now if I or my children were not vaccinated for polio! I think this is a no brainer. Read any of the books or articles by polio survivors if… Read more »

He contracted a vaccine strain‼️

Big picture

From reading the story one could come to the conclusion that he got the virus because of the vaccine

Listen to the Rebbe
July 23, 2022 11:54 pm

The Rebbe said to listen to doctors and to get vaccinated and instead we now have someone paralyzed from polio. The Rebbe is not just another rebbe that you go for brochas…he told us what everyone needs to do!

Don't worry

Being that the vaccine is so effective, all the vaccinated people can relax assured that they will not get it, and let everyone live their life and choose what they want to do!

Idiocy.
Vaccines work through herd immunity.
Google it.
“ Herd immunity works best when there is a vaccine to provide protection. For example, diseases like polio and smallpox were once very common in the United States, however due to widespread vaccination, these diseases have become extremely rare. In fact, the United States has been polio-free since 1979. The vaccines for these diseases have helped establish herd immunity.”

I would like to invite you to research the timeline of when polio cases went down and when the vaccine rollout happened…. you can find this timeline on the CDC website.

So if I’m a loving father and not abusive I should put my head down and ignore my neighbor who is abusing his children? I should let him choose what he wants to do?

not vaccinating your child against whooping cough, measles, polio, puts them at risk for these infections, and they are not benign diseases. Judaism, as one of its tenets, tells us we are responsible for our fellows. It is our responsibility to point out when you put your family, neighbors and community in danger.

vaccines save lives.
