Chabad of Miami Lakes recently celebrated a first – the first-ever Tanya printing in the town.
The Tanya was printed by Shluchim Rabbi Mendy and Tzippy Weiss, who oversaw the printing at their Chabad Center.
“I cannot describe the feeling of this very fulfilling and exciting event,” said Tzippy Weiss.
While there was no usual “pomp and circumstance” due to the current pandemic, “with just a few of us celebrating the meaningful event,” Weiss notes, “the event was perfect timing.”
“The printing was right before Purim in this special month of Adar, to bring more light and joy to our community and into our lives,” she said.
Miami Lakes is about to go through a physical and spiritual renaissance as people have been calling from throughout the world announcing their plans to move there as soon as homes become available.
“The Tanya printing is the ‘Welcome’ to all who wish to relocate here with open arms. Let’s build a beautiful, and loving community filled with Ahavas Yisroel just like Chassidus tells us,” Rabbi Mendy Weiss said.
