A vibrant Jewish community flourishes in the heart of the North Coast of the Dominican Republic where an expanding Chabad House run by Rabbi Mendy and Mrs. Bina Malka found its home, marking its first Purim celebration with joy and camaraderie.
Having settled in this city just seven months ago, the local Chabad has become a beacon of warmth and connection for both residents and tourists alike. In a remarkably short period, over 100 people gathered at Chabad to celebrate Purim, marking a significant milestone for the new community.
Observing the mitzvos of Purim with fervor and enthusiasm, the electrifying atmosphere was complemented by an exciting children’s program, ensuring that every member of the community, regardless of age, experienced the immense joy of Purim.
As the sun set over the picturesque coastline, laughter, music, and dancing filled the air as people came together for the first time for the special holiday.
