A fire broke out at the dormitory building of the Central Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch in the central Israeli village of Kfar Chabad on Sunday evening.
Firefighters and volunteer residents rushed to the scene and were able to put out the flames that were seen flaring out of the window.
Yeshiva bochurim who were getting ready to sleep were hurried out of the building. No people where hurt, Baruch Hashem.
One of the students said the fire broke out because of an electric heater that fell on a bed in one of the rooms, causing a rapid conflagration.

Does the dormitory have adequate fire extinguishers?
This question applies to all such facilities.
Baruch hashem no one is hurt
do we need to go to Harvard or the Technion to understand that obviously it was freezing is failing to live up to the basic necessities & safety of the students??!!!
why is any heaters allowed in the facility in the first place?????!!!!!! as even the most expensive units are a fire hazard and I think we can all understand that the unit used by some yeshiva boy on his own is most probably of the cheaper/od/outdated/outlawed type that doesn’t have any safety updated features built into them!!!!!!!
