A fire broke out in a home in Crown Heights on Tuesday morning, causing traffic closures in the neighborhood.
The fire broke out at 21 Miami Court between Brooklyn and New York Avenues at approximately 10:29 am.
Firefighters received a call about a major housefire, and quickly arrived on the scene. Traffic was blocked off around the area.
Firefighters did not find any people, trapped or injured in this fire.
Neighbors said that the house has been vacant for a while, and recently there has been a squatter living inside.

BH seems they didn’t need Hatzolah!
Thanks for always keeping us up-to-date!
We were just encouraged to change our smoke alarms when we changed the clock. Obviously in this scenario, it seems like the owner wasn’t home but just a reminder to check the batteries of your smoke alarm.
Hope they had house insurance
