The Fire Department of New York says three vehicles have caught on fire and one person has died following a crash on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City.
Five other people have suffered minor injuries.
Police say all lanes have been closed in both directions.
The FDNY says the crash occurred on the Brooklyn-bound side of the bridge shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday. The bridge connects Manhattan and Brooklyn and spans the East River.
Bright orange-red flames engulfed the vehicles and black smoke billowed high into the air.
ONE HOSE and 25 fire fighters!!!!
It begs a question as to how many hoses were used to combat the flames in California…..
To #1 . Of course this is a terror attack. And probably anti-semitic too. And also god’s miraculous and benevolent way of reminding us chanuka is coming.
Uhm. Or, our condolences to the families of the person who died. Speedy and complete recovery to the injured, and sympathies to anyone hurt. Hopefully this was purely accidental and unavoidable, and the high unavoidable cost of our driving in big heavy dangerous vehicles.
Scary though but who knows
