Don’t think these people are necessarily coming from far out of our area. . are some of the same people that are renting and buying from Jews that are so thrilled to get a nice price for their property. I hope the fuller ramifications of what they are doing.
Belive it or not a few of the protesters were jewish and they came without knowing anything about kaparot till pepole explained to them what it realy means and a lot,of them even non jews understood the idea and went home
The chickens were very healthy. That’s not the issue. The issue is that they think humans and animals are sentient so we are the same. Without an objective moral law that differentiates, I might have made the same mistake. If only they/we were at the level of pre-Eitz Hadaas. Maybe they also shouldn’t eat plants either, since we all come from some prebiotic ancestor. I think that the machlokes haposkim (Rema, Beis Yosef) should be taught to boys and girls from grade 9. There was a huge group of at least 30 “people” protesting at Beis Rivka, shrieking at the top of their lungs the most vile and disgusting attacks they could think of, like kids throwing a tantrum, and yelling the most vicious threats at women and children!! You would not recognize this as America in the 21st century.
