Someone once wrote the rebbe that he a brake in (a robbery) in his house (maybe it was even more than once) & asked what needs to be fixed? & suggested to the rebbe maybe he should check his mezozahs! The rebbe response: make sure doors & windows are close before you go to sleep. There were today! They were distributing them as well as batteries if you needed for already existing smoke alarms.
